The Home of Icarus.

A tribute song to my late sister, Ruby Jean Honey-Malcolm.

This was originally an instrumental intended to act as an apology for my not being around in the initial weeks after the visible onset of her sickness. 

I saw her once in the hospital and then fell into a downward spiral of opiate addiction and suicidal ideation. If not for my parents' assistance in getting me to the mental health ward at Charles Gardner Hospital it is likely I never would have seen Ruby again.

On August 31st I posted a preview of this track on Facebook. Ruby passed away of heart failure the very next day. She never got the chance to hear this song.

In the time since it's become as much a tribute as it has an apology, and as such I've now included vocals to attempt to express my love and regret.
