This Is Trax Vol.1 – A brand new concept album series launched via the Toolroom Records sub label that showcases the spectrum of sound that the label is now renowned for. The ethos is simple, straight up club tracks, made by DJ’s for DJ’s on the underground tech house and techno circuit.

The remit of Trax has always been about both nurturing new talent, while also shining a light on producers who consistently create forward-thinking and well-crafted club music. The tracklist of this album certainly reflects this mantra - with cuts from well respected heads such as ATFC, Piemont, Pablo Say and DJ Fronter, alongside fresh names Acid Skys, Vangelis Kostoxenakis and Landmark. An essential collection of fresh underground Tech House and Techno -  This is Trax - Volume 1.

Fresh from his latest release on Elrow Music, which garnered support from the likes of Sante, Franky Rizardo and Javi Bora, we're delighted to share his 'Break' EP - with three hard hitting, dance floor ready club cuts that epitomises Cr2 Trax.

'Bass Brother' is a weighty 4x4 banger, that is driven by a catchy, rolling bassline and thumping drums. Title track, 'Break', is an acid tinged cut that acts as the perfect middle man for the EP before string heavy, 'Like That' closes the EP. It's no surprise Waitz has been included in countless 'Ones to Watch' features for 2017.
