Toolroom Trax has been on top form this year, with a list of killer club records that keeps growing. The same is true for the labels next release, Clyde P who is back on Trax and bringing the heat in his latest dance floor filler ‘Love Me Baby’.

Next up on Toolroom Trax, it’s a double-barrelled label debut from Kittball co-owner Juliet Sikora & Elrow resident Tini Gessler who team up on their Trax debut with ‘Tidy Up’! Set to clean up the dance floor, Juliet & Tini go hard with their club ready cut of Minimal Tech House.

Both label boss of Kittball with Tube & Berger and a solid DJ herself, Juliet has made waves in scene with a string of killer releases and successes with her label. As one of the top 15 selling Deep House labels of all time on Beatport, her influence on ‘Tidy Up’ can be heard from the get-go. Along with releases on Pete Tong’s FFRR, Flashmob Records & of course Kittball, Juliet Sikora’s production style and work ethic are second to none. 

Tini Gessler on the other hand, is a fast-rising name in the Deep & Tech House world, having cemented herself as a resident DJ for Elrow and known for throwing huge parties, together the pair bring a deeper, more minimal edge to the record. 

There’s no doubt that ‘Tidy Up is a groove focused, Tech House track that is meant to be hammered through club sound systems hard and with their feet firmly planted in the world of Tech House, it’s clear that Juliet Sikora & Tini Gesseler are onto something huge on this one!

Back on Toolroom Trax with enough heat to set fire to the dance floor is Academy graduate and Toolroom alumni Scott Costello who releases ‘Don’t Trust Me’. Hailing all the way from Northern Ireland, Scott has established himself as an exciting new producer in the scene, dropping a solid selection of releases on Toolroom’s popular club label.

Having studied the Toolroom Academy’s Creativity Unlocked course and signing his Trax debut ‘Get Down’ to the imprint in 2020; off the back of A&R from the Toolroom’s own Matt Smallwood, Scott Costello has become a firm addition to the #ToolroomFamily. Followed up by his Deep club weapon ‘All To You’, Scott is back and ready to tear up the club!

His latest record ‘Don’t Trust Me’ is a huge Tech House outing deigned for big rooms, with a deep rumbling bass line and a perfect vocal sample which sees the rising producer evolving his production skills along with his sound. If you’re a fan of infectious hooks and high-octane energy, then this is certainly for you.

Long time Trax favourites Tuff London are back with their first release of 2022 – ‘Take You Up’, an energetic club-ready record that the London based producers are known for.

 Toolroom Trax family members for a minute now, Tuff London have been releasing on the label since first forming as a duo in 2015, with a string of hits on the label including ‘Jus’ Come’ & ‘Kill ‘Em With Da Boom’, to last year’s club weapon ‘Heart Beat’; Tuff London have a reputation for dropping bangers that’s for sure.

Continuing with what they do best, ‘Take You Up’ is a fresh addition to the duo’s discography and one that is itching to be dropped in the club. A straight up Tech House stomper, ‘Take You Up’ is a Tuff London at their finest, dropping a slice of jacked up dance music that’s made for those late night/early morning sets. Built around a Rave inspired synth stab riff, Tuff London meticulously meld their top-notch production skills together to create a club weapon with unlimited ammo.

Back on Trax a dance floor heater straight from the lab, it’s studio producer extraordinaire James Hurr who returns to Toolroom Trax with – ‘Right Now’. James Hurr himself has been a part of the firm for a minute now, with a handful of releases on both Toolroom and Toolroom Trax such as ‘Love Together’ with Tasty Lopez & ‘The Revival’ with Lizzie Curious, along with spots on Toolroom’s popular House Party album series.

After signing off 2021 with a superhot collaboration with Toolroom’s founder Mark Knight and vocalist Laura Davie on Mark’s ‘Bullets Vol. 5’ EP, James Hurr kept up the energy up by kicking off 2022 with the huge club weapon on Toolroom – ‘Get Up’. Now, James returns to Toolroom’s club focused imprint label with ‘Right Now’, a bumping House groove with a spacious arrangement and distinctive vocal melody that has become synonymous with James Hurr’s production styles. If you’re looking for new names in 2022 then you better check that James Hurr is high up on that list, as an artist he’s single handily building a reputation for releasing consistent, high quality club records that are itching to get the club moving!

Up next on Toolroom Trax, it’s a brand-new club groover from Ben Delay who is back on the label with ‘All Your Love’. Following on from his Trax debut last year with his aptly name floor filler ‘Belter’, Ben Delay is hitting the ground running hard. Dropping a pumped-up Tech House roller that’ll whip the club into a wild frenzy, ‘All Your Love’ is a record that requires more than just your love, it needs you movin’ until the early morning! As far as Trax releases go, this one is certainly up there as one to remember.

Having already being singled out as an artist to watch out for in 2018, Will Easton presents his debut release on W&O Street Tracks with a fine triplet of tracks on the “18 Month Free Trial” EP.

The title track has notched up radio play already from the BBC Radio 1 team of Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Monki, as well as club support from the likes of Patrick Topping, Solardo and Waze & Odyssey, and it’s not hard to see why.  “18 Month Free Trial”, with its irresistible ascending synth riff, bumping groove and shuffling percussion, is a fully formed and fully road tested dancefloor heater!

“Take It To The Bridge” mashes up rave chops and rasping bass as Easton ramps up the BPMs; snare rolls and old school piano stabs make for one hell of an industrious production, whilst on “Karma”, arpeggiated keys and vocal refrains are joined by a hefty bassline and driving drums for a real ‘hands in the air’ house moment.

Max has graced labels such as Love & Other, Ultra, SPINNIN & Dim Mak and he’s hit our underground imprint with a bang! 

‘Run’ is a driving euphoric club cut, packed with bundles of energy and attitude!
