HASKELL is back on Toolroom Trax with the ‘Perfect Sound’, a club-ready weapon that’s living up to its name. James Haskell has recently rebranded as HASKELL and follows a string of strong momentum with recent drops on Nervous Records, IN / ROTATION, Myth Of NYX, Wh0 Worx, Alleanza plus, that massive collab he did with Mark Knight and Gene Farris on Toolroom.

‘Perfect Sound’ marks his 8th release across Toolroom & Trax as the label continues to support and develop him as an artist. He’s been touring with many shows across the UK and Europe, including the iconic London venue Ministry of Sound and a packed show in Ibiza earlier this season.

Kevin McKay and Doozie follow up their last single ("A New Day") with this joyously understated collaboration with Canadian vocalist Elise LeGrow. Most DJs will know Elise from "It Is What It Is", her 2020 collaboration with Vintage Culture that hit the top of the charts back in 2020. Other listeners will know "Temptation", her huge streaming success with Bakermat from 2022. Listening to either of these superb songs, it was a no-brainer for us to have her on the label. "So Far" is a beautiful, deep house jam topped with Elise's wondrous words about a break-up. It's no shoe-gazing, sad song, though, as Elise delivers a supreme, positive outlook on the heartbreak. If you liked Texture's "Hit The Ground", this is for you.
