Next up this summer on Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records is a release that we have been super excited to share with you even since we were first sent it back in 2019 and we're delighted to now be able to release the 'Nonsifa' EP from label favourite Ruben Mandolini who teams up with Riky Ild and Uness to bring you his latest outing. 

A record that has been in high demand ever since label boss Nic Fanciulli championed it at his Dance Or Die parties back in Ibiza 2019, 'Nonsifa' has already been heavily supported by the likes of Carl Cox, Fisher, Piero Pirupa, Marco Faraone and many more; truly indicative of Ruben and Riky's signature sound, oozing hypnotic vocals, an irresistible bassline, heavyweight Tech House drums, bubbling percussion and a grooving low-end. 

Ruben closes out the EP with another collab track, this time featuring the vocals of Uness, 'Take No More' maintains the high levels of energy with mesmerising vocals, stomping, raw drums and a commanding bassline running throughout

Before the year is up, Toolroom Trax have a few more killer cuts left in the bank to see you through to 2022, including a label debut from Italian duo ItaloBros. Hailing from Scalea Italy, the eclectic DJ duo make their Trax debut with a bumping, Funky House groover ‘Dilan’. 

Having been on the circuit since 2012, ItaloBros have made a name for themselves as profilic producers and remixers with releases on Knee Deep In Sound, Glasgow Underground, Sola Nauts, Monday Social Music and remixes on Nervous Records, ItaloBros are definitely an act on the rise.

Bringing both passion and adrenaline to their mixes, ItaloBros drop a cut of Disco Funk driven, Tech house on ‘Dilan’. Kicking things off with the solid groove and plucky “in your face” bass line, ItaloBros spin classic Italo Disco sounds with the harder club edge that Toolroom Trax is known for. Hannah Wants unveils Ghetto EP on DFTD, a return to her edgier, bass-heavy roots with two distinct tracks designed for the club. Hannah’s trajectory throughout 2023 was signposted by performances at flagship events including Defected Croatia, Defected’s Australasian Tour and The Warehouse Project. In 2024, her collaboration with Sam Divine and Jem Cooke, ‘Cruel Intentions’, kicked off the year before Hannah appeared on the ambitious livestream celebrating 25 years of Defected with 25 titan DJs playing B2B in 2024. After a string of releases showcasing her more emotive side on the London house label, Hannah Wants now returns to the bass house sound she helmed for over a decade, releasing Ghetto EP on sister label DFTD. The first of two deeper, headsier cuts, ‘Ghetto’ offers relentless club energy, with deep, percussive synths that hammer away underneath expressive audio sampling. ‘Let The Beat Talk’ follows, featuring frequent Plump Records collaborator Baby Luck on cool vocals, with its hard and tough sound shaking the floor as high frequency synths bubble overhead.
