Established last year as a series to showcase up-and-coming talent, this album features a handpicked selection of artists who have graduated from the Toolroom Academy. The Academy is the label’s renowned educational arm, which over the past 5 years has been innovating electronic music education by breaking down the barriers between new artists and the music industry. 

As a driving force in Electronic Music education, we are proud to state that our ‘Leaders Of The New School’ album series is one of the hottest platforms to showcase some of the incredible talents rising through the Academy. Boasting a wide variety of artists from #ToolroomFamily favourites Husko, Tone Troy, Lewis John and ACAY, to debuts from Camille Doe, Fletcher Kerr, Neviks, Remi Blaze, Liam Cox and JUNË8.

He's back on the label where it all started as we welcome newcomer Simon Kidzoo back to our Trax imprint!

His release 'Might Be Dope' marked his debut back in 2019 and it was a raucous outing that had the likes of Green Velvet and Eats Everything taking note. Fast forward a few months and Simon also went onto release on Toolroom - 'The Way I Feel' was a feel good Housey number. Reminding us all that even though he is a young, up and coming artist, he has it in his locker to take on various guises and styles when in creation mode!

'Nomad Rave' sees Kidzoo take a slightly more experimental and minimal approach to production. Driving techy grooves, layered with tribal vocal stabs and plenty of short builds to keep the energy levels up, this is another top drawer piece of work from this very talented artist!

“Get Enough” is a production made by Peruvian producer Arzenic, where he shows the different moods one can find in a party and the radical changes that can be felt. Both tracks bring sudden strong changes in energy without previous notice, routing you from a quiet space to total frenzy. The mix of synthesizers, percussion and bumpy bass lines fuel a friendly trip from tranquility to total euphoria in a matter of seconds. Debuting on DVINE Sounds at the end of 2019 with 'Desire', Italian duo Brokenears return to the imprint with their next red-hot delivery, 'The Game'. Showcasing their signature club-focussed sound, this release illustrates their affinity for fusing classic house sounds with new school production methods, as adrenaline fuelled builds, a thundering bassline and punchy hi-hats are offset by the powerful vocal that brims with soul. Having received DJ support from some of the biggest names in house, including Patrick Topping, Roger Sanchez and Purple Disco Machine, there is no doubt 'The Game' will be another runaway hit for this pair of production maestros.
