After a storming 2014 with releases on VIVA, Quartz and Snatch Off, ONNO is back with his first EP for 2015 on Adam Beyer's acclaimed Truesoul label. For this 3 track EP, ONNO explores the more techno focussed part of his sound, while retaining that bottom heavy, hip hop inspired groove that he is renowned for. 

The title track, aptly named "Techno Jam" kicks off proceedings with a bang. Straight up heavy techno beats are broken up by a processed vocal snippet before bringing everything back full force. On the flipside we find “Come On”. For this track, ONNO follows a less-is-more approach, focussing on just one hypnotizing melody line and blending this with a looped hip-hop vocal to create a dancefloor cut. Digital only track “Breakbeat Bats” completes the package with some analog synths and heavy 909 rides. All in all, this is essential stuff.

Back in August, Russ Yallop and Cera Alba ventured into the acidic side of house together. Their joint release 'Format' dropped via Santé's Avotre imprint, complete with a low-slung remix from Leeds duo, Audiojack.

Now up-and-comer Cera Alba is back, switching up the format (see what we did there..?) with his 'Warehouse Re-Rub'. Bigger and badder than ever before, the new remix is available to download for free below. No need to thank us, just call it an early Christmas present!
