We’re hitting the ground running on this next one as Toolroom welcomes mysterious UK duo Wh0 & Brighton powerhouse Kideko for their main label release. Teaming up together on ‘Soul Searcher’, Wh0 & Kideko bring a fresh touch to the label with a sound that skirts the world of 2000’s Daft Punk French House vibe but with a more refined edge. 
 
Wh0 have released on Toolroom and the sub label Toolroom Trax previously, with the killer ‘Real Good’ & Dombresky collab ‘Take Me Away’, Kideko on the other hand makes his Toolroom debut. An established name in the scene already, Kideko has released cuts on Ministry of Sound, Stress Records, Realm and many more, collaborating with artists such as Friend Within, Armand Van Helden and Kudu Blue to name a few. 
 
Although we might not really know who Wh0 are, given the result of this record, it’s clear to see that the duo are a perfect match for a collab with Kideko. Together, they have dropped a full blown, feel-good House production. From the get-go, ‘Soul Searcher’ hooks you in with its incredible use of the 1976 classic D.C Larue ‘Cathedrals’ sample layered with tough drums and plenty of weight to keep those dance floors moving. There are some awesome brass hits that swirl around the filtered-out rising piano chords and a killer vocal ‘Don’t stop the music now it’s deep inside my soul’. Safe to say Kideko & Wh0 have absolutely smashed this!

Landing on Toolroom, it’s a label debut for an upcoming Liverpool based DJ & Producer ESSEL, who makes her way onto the label in a big way with her debut single ‘Love Vibration’. 

A huge record for the emerging artist who, in the short space of time, has risen through the noise at breakneck speeds, turning heads, and dropping dance floor heaters alike. ‘Love Vibration’ is without a doubt a straight up House banger, with a stomping groove and funky bass line that’ll get any dance floor moving no matter what time it is.

So far, 2021 has seen ESSEL go from strength to strength, especially after the success of her hit ‘Running’ on Love & Other which saw the upcoming artist gain major support from streaming services and national radio, racking up over a million streams earlier this year. From residencies at Sankeys Ibiza, Eden & Ibiza Rocks Hotel to release to quality records on Love & Other, Toolroom Trax, Good Company Records and finally Toolroom, it’s clear that ESSEL isn’t letting up anytime soon. An incredible collaboration here from 2 heavyweight house artists, working together for the very first time! David Penn has a career spanning over 25 years. OFFAIAH appears on Toolroom for the first time in his career under this alias, although he was a firm part of the original Toolroom Family line up as Michael Woods. So this is a SPECIAL ONE! He is a premier act on his own merit, known for his low-slung house beats, appearing on leading imprints such as Defected and Armada Subjekt and selling out arenas all over the Globe on a weekly basis.

The record itself screams sun-drenched terraces, pool parties and chilled cocktails! A huge bass line, infectious tribal vocals and some lush house pianos for good measure.
