Format:B are a dance duo hailing out of Berlin in Germany who shot to fame off the back of their record ‘Chunky’ that dropped on Ministry of Sound back in 2015. That instantly became a Global hit that currently sits on 60m streams and they continued to succeed with the many releases that followed, including ‘The Scoop’ that was released on Toolroom that hit 10m streams! This record started life as the most asked about ‘ID’ in Maur’s DJ sets during the Summer. Fast forward to the present day, and it finally see’s the light of day on Toolroom! A stone-cold Toolroom classic from way back in 2006 in the original Toolroom ‘family’ era when Dave Spoon (aka Shadow Child), Funkagenda, D.Ramirez and Mark Knight ruled the roost. It was always a record well ahead of it’s time, fusing electro elements with tough tech house beats and Maur, who racked up an impressive 30m + streams last year, have updated it perfectly for today’s floors. 

Maintaining much of the original vibe but adding their big room melodic twist and bundles of energy, this is already causing a huge stir at club level with Gorgon City, Alan Fitzpatrick, Danny Howard, Adam Beyer and Nicky Romero all providing early support!
