One of the New York scene’s house originators and in the same classification as some of the US’s finest old school DJs such as Little Louie Vega, Roger Sanchez and Danny T, Joeski carved his heritage from club residencies in his home city of NYC to worldwide bookings and beyond. Famed for his smooth sets and the founder of Maya Records – responsible for first releasing ‘Hustles Revenge’ to rapturous worldwide acclaim – Joeski’s original Latin Jazz vibes have been preserved in this sterling set of re-licks.

Prok & Fitch kick off the proceedings with a total upfront rework of the infamous sax line that made the original such a standout bit of wax. Heavy on the techy drums and swamped with crystal clear thundering bass grooves, enjoy ‘Hustles Revenge’ rejuvenated as a modern day classic. Completing the package, Mendo carves a cool collection of grooves that again pay homage to the original. Underground percussion simmers underneath the striking hook, revisiting the Balearic feel that catapulted to prominence the original cut.
