As Guy J's exceptional Lost & Found imprint reaches the milestone 50 releases, they look back at 3 moments which have made the label so successful. Focusing on Khen's incredible sound design, Hermanez builds a uniquely melodic groover from all manner of percussive sources. Finally, Luka Sambe's Sooti, here gloriously reimagined by Eli Nissan. The most uptempo of the trio, Eli weaves a nuanced tail with sweeping sonics, deep pads and cleverly orchestrated toplines.

The Mambo Brothers return to the musical pages of Toolroom with a sun-drenched follow up to their debut release 'Momento', that landed back in 2016. This new offering is titled 'Sundogs' and you can rest assured that clubbers, radio jocks and industry folk alike will all be appreciating this gem.

The brothers have had quite a rapid rise to the top in recent years, obviously their home town of Ibiza is where they cut their teeth, not only as owners of the legendary 'Mambos' bar, but as budding DJ's and producers. Now with a string of strong and successful releases behind them, most recently on Nic Fanciulli's Saved label, they are forging a reputation in the world of music production, and rightly so. 'Sundogs' couldn't scream 'IBIZA' anymore if it came with an extortionate price tag, sunburn and a monster hangover! Chunky drums and lush Balearic chords that lend themselves to that sunset perfectly, this is truly epic stuff from the Ibiza legends.

After releases on labels like Click Records, Ein2, Karera, … he came back to the label where it all started for him and recently he even started working with us as A&R. Throughout the years the sound of Nico Morano has developed into one of the most sophisticated ones in Belgium. His blend of deep, melodic House with a strong emotional touch has been picked up by many others. The Galeras EP translates this trademark style in two emotional, yet dancefloor oriented tracks, a perfect dj tool for the upcoming festival season. 

Galeras, isn’t only a fire bursting mountain in Colombia, it is the title of Nico’s latest EP. Consider the start like magma inside of a volcano, impatiently willing to erupt! This is how the track evolves exactly. Fire from the start with melodic techno rhythm, going steadily towards the break. No mercy there with just pure fire on the drop. Followed by some new melodic elements to make the track solid like a rock! 

Arenal embodies the raw power of one of the most famous volcanoes in Costa Rica,  ready to burst. Starting steadily with a powerful bassline & a mesmerizing arp, the track builds up the tension with a powerful lead, until the break makes the total track erupt completely!

Out Now! Catching Flies presents 'Silver Linings Remixed', a remix album featuring versions of tracks from his debut album reimagined by DJ Seinfeld, Andhim, Soundbwoy Killah, Laurence Guy, Ron Basejam, Freddie Joachim, Grandbrothers and more.
Sequenced by Catching Flies into a flowing narrative arc, the remixes come from some of the producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ's favorite artists, hand picked by him to transform 'Silver Linings' into an alternate version.

"I sat down and wrote a list of everyone I’d been listening to over the last few years but then everything had to fit together and develop in a way that felt like a journey rather than a bunch of remixes chucked together. I wanted it to have an arc, to start in the headphones and end in the club. It's so fun to hear tracks with my favourite artists' take on them.” - Catching Flies

Typically wide ranging on genre, the mood progresses from ambient soundscapes to hip hop beats, deep disco and house to breakbeats and emotive techno. Linking the album together includes a new Catching Flies track 'Daymarks', a "Part 2" version of 'Yu' which features a transatlantic rap collaboration between the UK's Jehst and US's Blu (of Blu and Exile fame) and his own "Ambient Reprise" of 'Satisfied'.

George King began Catching Flies in late 2012, drawing inspiration from a wide-ranging palette of music including jazz, soul, hip-hop, house and electronica. His debut album ‘Silver Linings’ was released in July 2019 and was hailed as "a soundtrack to summertime" by The 405 and awarded Album of the Month by Future Music who described it as "a brilliantly eclectic record…a moving journey that will last long in the memory". Clash Magazine praised the LP’s "killer beats" and "artfully orchestrated introspection" whilst London In Stereo praised its "exceptional production". Other coverage for the album included The Guardian, Complex, Dazed & Confused, and Nowness, with radio support across BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, Worldwide FM and more. Artist support for ‘Silver Linings’ has come from the likes of Bonobo, Jungle (BBC Radio One Residency), George Fitzgerald and Lane 8. His ever growing fanbase has seen him perform live and DJ sets across the UK, Europe, USA and Asia.
