Toolroom’s very own Mark Knight announce his a latest single ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’, a sure-fire smash hit and the lead single from his forthcoming debut album.
A long time in the making, ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’ features vocals from the incredibly talented Beverley Knight as well as the London Community Gospel Choir, who together bring a powerful message of positivity, solidarity and hope that soon things will be alright.

Known for releasing quality club records, Mark Knight has gone back to his roots, reprising the sounds and records that made him the DJ he is today. Diving through his extensive collection of classic Funk, House, Soul and Disco records from the 1970s and 80s, ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’ is an instant hit. Brimming with nostalgic moments as a result of Mark's authentic production aesthetic.

Back with a fresh new sound and following on from last year’s smash hit ‘All 4 Love’, Mark Knight continues to up his game, showing off his prowess as a producer and his extensive musical knowledge as a DJ.
‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’ is the lead single from Mark’s forthcoming album Untold Business, set for release on the 11th of June 2021. An homage to the soulful, vocal-led house music that Mark first fell in love with in the 90s, the album features further collaborations with the likes of Shingai (Noisettes) Michael Gray, Robert Owens and many more, and aims to set a positive, life-affirming tone with a focus on real instrumentation and properly crafted songs that will stand the test of time.

After the huge crossover success of the original back in 2006, the artist formerly known as Joey Negro, Dave Lee has reworked one of the biggest tracks of his career into an original Disco anthem. New York meets Chicago as Rivera is joined by his fellow Defected House Master, and together the two deliver some American house music excellence. ‘I Won’t Let Go’ features vocals from London’s April Morgan, a frequent collaborator of Rivera who previously worked with him on 2013’s ‘Fall For You’, now a modern record box staple. They are joined by Mike Dunn, whose signature vocal style has featured on some of house music’s most memorable tracks over the past three decades. As the two vocalists perform over the effortlessly melodic composition, Rivera displays his hypnotic production skills with subtleties that deserve a close listen.

Beverley Knight will be releasing her highly anticipated 7th studio album on July 4th 2011. Entitled ‘Soul UK,’ the album is a celebration of UK soul music -reflecting the British songs and artists that inspired Beverley leading up to her own arrival on the UK scene in the mid 90's. It’s a personal journey, curated by Beverley and delivered with her own unique soul/gospel style, through some of her all time favorite soulful tracks by British artists.

The first commercially available single is a storming take on Junior’s classic, ‘Mama Used To Say’, out June 27th, produced by Grammy award winning Martin Terefe (James Morrison, Jason Mraz etc). Originally a Top 10 hit in the UK in 1982 and a massive track in the US, reaching No.2 on the US Billboard R&B chart, Beverley’s take on ‘Mama Used To Say’ is a gloriously upbeat slice of UK soul, featuring a fierce horn section and an infectiously funky bass line. Her version has been given a glowing endorsement by Junior himself and will be backed by remixes from Cool Million and Dave Doyle.
