To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Defected Records presents a series of extra special collaborative releases Together, integrating talent from the label’s storied past and the stars of its future, as the powerhouse pairing of Low Steppa & Crusy return for ‘Bullerengue’. The Simma Black label boss and chart-topping producer Low Steppa is a firm friend of Defected, headlining many of the label’s events globally including Dubai, Malta, Croatia and Manchester’s The Warehouse Project. His previous release with Spanish selector Crusy, ‘This Is The Sound’, made waves on DFTD in 2023, marking the start of a fruitful relationship between the two celebrated producers and DJs. ‘Bullerengue’ takes inspiration from the traditional sounds of Colombia and Panama, complete with native vocal samples over driving club-ready beats as this international collaboration fully represents the power of Defected’s Together series.

Influential DJ, producer and label owner Adam Beyer takes to his own Drumcode imprint to deliver his latest peak-time floor-filler in the collaboration with Bart Skils titled 'Your Mind'.

If you’ve caught a set from Adam Beyer recently, chances are you remember this track causing mayhem. ‘Your Mind’ is a banging new collaboration with Dutch talent Bart Skils, and it absolutely caught the attention of his Timewarp, Awakenings and Ultra set audiences with its haunting chorus chant. 

'Your Mind' is released via Drumcode on June 18.

Toolroom head honcho Mark Knight has had somewhat of an incredible year in terms of musical output and this latest instalment looks set to do that accolade no harm whatsoever. His previous outing on Toolroom alongside Mr V 'We Get High From The Music' was an overall top 3 on Beatport and his debut release on Saved alongside studio compadre and good friend, Adrian Hour, was also a huge success.

Mark keeps up his collaborative theme on this record and drafts in the talents of legendary percussionist, Shovell. Shovell adds live hits and trademark vocal licks over the top of Mark's driving tech house groove and that flute hook will work its way into your head and set up camp there for the hours that follow. This is a breath of fresh air in a day when a lot of dance music is being classed as 'disposable'.
