Hailing from Thessaloniki, all three artists already have established their name on the international front with releases on some of the best labels of the scene.

This time they united to bring the heat on Renegade Methodz with six cuts of their unmistakable style for a lesson in proper techno production.

Presented symbolically under the name ‘Rework Our Unity’, this release serves as a united front of Techno music coming from Thessaloniki, aims to inspire future generations and to provide a glimpse of hope for the Greek electronic music scene.

It’s a big team up on Toolroom Trax between a DJ Mag World Champion and one of the most sought-after producers in the game, it’s Smokin Jo & James Hurr. Smokin Jo revitalised her music catalog last year on Toolroom Trax and the iconic Faith fanzine re-affirming Jo’s status in the underground. A 1992 DJ Mag World Champion, Smokin Jo holds an incredible reputation in dance culture history as being the only female artist to ever achieve this award, so when pairing Smokin Jo with one of today’s highest regarded dance producers, James Hurr, can mean only one thing, a certified dancefloor banger. Awarded as the 18th Most Played Electronic Artist in the World by 1001tracklists in 2024, James Hurr is always welcomed back onto the label as he delivers heavyweight House records time and time again. It’s clear that James’ music resonates with the DJ’s. 

‘Feel Real Good’ is a percussive tech essential, featuring James’ signature chunky drums & percussion underneath super creative vocal chops making this record an exciting club weapon.

Returning to Toolroom Trax with her solo debut on the label is Hungarian talent Andrea Lane with some serious club business. Andrea Lane first released on the label along-side fellow Hungarian duo Muzzaik with ‘What Goes Around’ that received AAA support from Mau P, Watermät, GOODBOYS and Gorgon City. As an Ibiza resident Andrea Lane has earned her stripes across the White Isle and Europe homing in on her craft as a DJ and that’s clearly translated into her productions too. 

‘Gorongosa’ has that signature Toolroom Trax sound with chunky driving drums, rich percussion hits and tribal inspired vocal leads and textures. This one is for the club circuit!

KEFFI is back on Toolroom Trax and picking up right where he left off, with a track that’s all about tight grooves and percussion. Not only a DJ/Producer in his own right, KEFFI is now a key member of the Toolroom Academy where he works alongside many aspiring artists guiding and nurturing their talents and goals. KEFFI has been instrumental on many success stories that have come through the Academy and now it’s his turn to take the well-earned spotlight. This release is another amazing milestone for the young producer. 
 
‘Bodywork’ is straight-up percussive tech house, it’s a groove-driven roller focusing on all the intricate drum sounds and patterns.
