It’s Wednesday and we’re inexplicably still busy recovering from what was another intense weekend for us at DT covering dancefloors across the UK and beyond.  So to help alleviate those midweek blues how about a world exclusive premiere of a fresh track to get you looking forward to next weekend early? 

Well, here we have revered Spanish producer Dosem  making an assertive debut on Toolroom which follows hot on the heels of the release of  his award winning album 'City Cuts.' Titled the ‘Presence’ EP we're pleased to see the Spaniard add another stellar chapter to what is fast becoming one of the most discerning of catalogues; so pleased in fact, that we just had to secure his new EP in its entirety an exclusive premiere ahead of its April 27th release.

Scheduled to  where he makes his 2nd Toolroom appearance at this years We Are FSTVL we expect to see and hear a lot more from Dosem throughout 2015 and beyond.

Loco & Jam return to Trax with another slamming 2 track EP after the massive success of ‘Oblivion’ that was championed by Drumcode main man, Adam Beyer. His influence unquestionable across dance music’s landscape; electronic music heavy weight Fedde Le Grand returns to Toolroom, with his rootsy House anthem ‘Liquid Music’. A classic organ hook drives the track, with vocals appreciative of the genre, all wrapped up with Fedde’s unmistakable production.

With major distributors now selling mixes, the majority of artists or labels regularly pushing out promo-packed free podcasts and ever more streaming options to watch DJs tear up booths and carve new niches all from the comfort of your hangover-recovery-room, the compilation finds itself at an increasingly crowded party. That's not to say there aren't exceptions to this rule with a number of outposts still seeing their releases able to separate themselves from the rest of the marauding pack.

One such series if undoubtedly Toolroom's 'Toolroom Live' series, in which the label bring together three of the scenes fastest rising artists and producers to showcase the full spectrum of the labels musical space. Taking the helm this time around, Amtrac, Mendo and Filterheadz join the party with each DJ serving up a groove based helping of danceable house numbers.

If there was ever a time to really showcase our roster, it’s now. One year on from #RESET, Toolroom’s new squad is leading the way in all things house, tech house and techno. To kick start October, we wanted to experiment with our artist roster and do something a little different. We are proud to introduce 'T1'. 

The first in a new album series, T1 is all about new and unexpected combinations of Toolroom's leading artists.  Featuring 7 unique, never been done before collaborations, this album is a way for us to really celebrate our artists' talents and to challenge them with new creative partnerships.  
 
First up - Mark Knight vs Prok & Fitch. ‘Into My Life’ is everything you’d expect and want from this stellar collaboration - A big room club banger which will be lighting up many a party to come.

Next up we have the instrumental version of the tune of the Summer from Technasia & Green Velvet, Suga. Available exclusively via this compilation, this is an essential tool that Joris Voorn has been hammering for the past 6 Months.

We then move over to Toolroom’s very own Weiss and label favourite Harry Romero. This collaboration showcases another side of the Toolroom sound - straight up House music, and ‘Let Me Show Ya’ is all about chunky, heavy beats and infectious basslines that has already seen Pete Tong provide early Radio One support. 

Next up, it’s Adrian Hour and Eelke Kleijn. A collaboration which is both alluring and melodic,  ‘Take Control’ is the perfect Techno injection for T1 – The result is so good, it’s hard to believe that this is the first time the guys have worked together, but we’re sure it wont be the last.

Heading over to the underground floors we have Secondcity and Kydus with ‘The Light’. A track which is designed for the early hours from 2 of the UK’s brightest up and coming stars, this heads-down roller is one for the darker floors and delves into territory of sub label Toolroom Trax.

Rene Amesz has had a standout year with singles ‘Like It Deep’ and ‘Big’ dominating the Beatport charts. This collab see’s him join forces with fellow tech house stalwart Mendo and ‘Tribeca’ is the perfect example of two outstanding producers coming together to create something really special.

Finally, upcoming talents Jamie K and Thee Cool Cats have collaborated on ‘One Time’. Another infectious track to add to the Toolroom vaults that features a groovy vocal stab and crisp pianos, this track ties T1 together and rounds off the first in an exciting new series for Toolroom.
