Back on Trax a dance floor heater straight from the lab, it’s studio producer extraordinaire James Hurr who returns to Toolroom Trax with – ‘Right Now’. Now, James returns to Toolroom’s club focused imprint label with ‘Right Now’, a bumping House groove with a spacious arrangement and distinctive vocal melody that has become synonymous with James Hurr’s production styles. Turning up the heat for this next release, London based producer RETNA returns to the label with none other than Toolroom’s head honcho Mark Knight as the pair deliver ‘What I Need’, a debut collab that’ll carve up dance floors worldwide in 2022 for sure. 

Having made his debut back in 2020, as part of our ‘Toolroom Miami’ album series, RETNA himself, is the London based DJ and producer fast making a name for himself in the scene. Catching the attention of Mark Knight and Saved Records owner Nic Fanciulli through his tight productions, especially on their 2021 collab – ‘This Is Life’ which smashed dance floors worldwide, RETNA’s signature sound that the buzzing producer is fast becoming known for.

International electronic music mastermind Four Tet made a highly anticipated return to his KH moniker with ‘Looking At Your Pager’, quickly earning its title as one of the most iconic tracks of the year. Following remixes from CLIPZ and Solomun, Chris Lake serves up his version.

A very exciting collaboration here as 2 of the scene’s brightest shining new stars join forces! Both are enjoying huge success with massive collabs alongside the likes of Low Steppa and Matt Sassari, achieving fantastic results across Beatport and streaming platforms. 

Later in the year the boys are stepping up to the decks together for us in Miami, London, LA and Vancouver as we build them into their special B2B US tour in November. Having been die-hard Toolroom fans for many years, this record actually came about during a conversation about old Toolroom records, and how they collectively wanted to emulate that slightly progressive tech house but bring it right up to date. And they have certainly done that! 

A real peak-time dance floor moment here with insane production and a unique, intense build up that is already causing maximum mayhem!
