Approaching a hitrate of half a million streams, the Danish Borneland brothers and their collaborator Falcon Punch have decided to give the trace a reinterpretation. In addition to their own dub version, NTEIBINT and AIMES truly delivers on this.

With prior remixes on The Rapture and Chet Faker, NTEIBINT from Eskimo Recordings brings a dreaming smooth groove take on the track. While the Brooklyn based AIMES brings a clubie-big kicks-lush synthetic version with hies signature silky bass lines.

The original track has been a labor of love and nearly two years in the making, and was brought together through a collaboration spanning three countries - the US, Denmark and Slovenia. The song was originally intended to be a remix done by Falcon Punch of the original Borneland track, but the two artists decided to team up and create a new version together, which is what we're sending you today. Guest vocals are provided by Line Gøttsche of Denmark and saxophone was provided by Anton Krutov of Slovenia. Falcon Punch initial met Anton after he submitted a saxophone cover of Falcon Punch's song "Square One". Falcon Punch immediately contacted Anton and the subsequent collaboration followed.

'Primordial' is the latest single from nu-disco hit machine Tim Bernhardt, aka Satin Jackets, and sees the German producer reunited with North Carolina based singer Niya Wells. Combining some of the best beats and basslines in the business with a smattering of piano and some delicately swirling strings, Tim has produced the perfect setting for Niya's sultry, lovelorn vocals. Talking about the song Niya explains, "A few months after the release of 'Never Enough'  Tim sent me several new tracks and I immediately gravitated towards this track. While writing the lyrics, the word 'primitive' kept coming to mind, I wasn't completely sold on it for various reasons – one reason being the negative connotations tied to it – but I just couldn't release the idea.

There's much to love about those moments that don't require much thought. Those rare experiences with individuals who just happened to show up at the right place, at the right time, seeking, craving that primal connection and that's what I wanted to capture with this song. No one should ever feel the need to censor themselves or miss out on life changing happenings, for the sake of conforming to the demands of those who don't matter. Tap into that primitive energy! Where 'Northern Lights' was more about escape, and 'Through The Night' about being with others I wrote this particular song about dancing with your shadow, the darkness in yourself. Stanislav Lukoyanov, aka 5 Reasons, is a 16 year old Russian producer from Moscow. He first made hip hop instrumentals for independent artists before turning towards nu-disco in 2012. In his search for a new inspiration, he looked into his father's record collection and started composing his own disco tunes. 
After releasing several tracks on various labels, he is now presenting his latest production "Night Drive In Moscow". This time, 5 Reasons created a very unique atmosphere by mixing mysterious vibes with a real disco feel. 
The vocals by the talented American singer Patrick Baker add the final touch to this remarkable piece. 
The release also includes two remixes: one by the very promising Mexican producer Bronx, and the other by a major artist of the nu-disco scene, Satin Jackets.

5 Reasons - Night Drive In Moscow (feat. Patrick Baker) (Satin Jackets Remix)

As we ease ourselves into 2021 clubs may still be closed but that hasn’t slowed down nu-disco star Tim Bernhardt, AKA Satin Jackets. Now he’s partnered with up and coming UK vocalist Tailor on new single, ‘Relapse’, and again struck gold as Tailor’s vocals, touched with a sense of nostalgic melancholy, are the perfect fit for Tim’s smooth mix of disco beats and evocative melodies.

“‘Relapse’ is about a relationship that you know is destructive in the long run but you can't help going back to,” explains Tailor. “Those moments of bliss, excitement and then serenity are fleeting but you'd rather stay lost than face the reality. The song’s influenced by the dance floor and the vibe you get when you lose yourself to everything in the moment, but deep down you know the feeling can't last.”

Having clocked up more than 50 million streams on Spotify alone for his 2019 album ‘Solar Nights’, 2020 saw Tim build on that with a string of acclaimed instrumental releases and hit collaborations with Metaxas and Panama. Kicking off 2021 in fine style ‘Relapse’ is sure to follow in their footsteps and once again is as perfect an accompaniment to chilling on the sofa as it would be to nursing a cocktail around a pool.
