Dark Nuggets-Too Much

Too much consists of Chris Staub and Nick Gavin, a DJ duo from New Zealand based in Hong Kong. They come from very different music scenes back home which compliments the unique sound the duo have been bringing to their performances. They share a passion for heavy bass lines filled with plenty of wobs and all things wonky. The duo strive to provide a sound people may have not heard before in a genre that can only be described as bass house. In their debut year they have played events for Hush Up including Secret Island Party and Secret Brunch Club, Jeanette Slacks quarterly nights at Fly bar and regular sets in Hong Kong’s underground scene including playing at Oma and Social room and collaborations with Bunker Club, Bump, Hummingbird and Utopia.
