He releases his own music under the name Hotlane (signed to Gomma Records) and spreads his Disco-Edits for UK’s influential Disco Label Midnight Riot (run by Yam Who!), Spa In Disco and Too SLow To Disco. He has an edit on every TSTD YACHT DISCO EDITS compiatlion so far, he was already part of TSTD EDITS 2 – Brasil with an edit, and last year he remixed SATIN JACKETS for TSTD NEO’s “The Sunset Manifesto” - compilation. The 4 tracks on this compilation are regular floor fillers in DJ Supermarkt’s DJ Sets, so it was time to give them a proper vinyl release. Lots more to come!

Greece DJ Snatch & Blacksoul joined forces to create Those Guys From Athens based on their mutual love for Boogie sounds. Expect dancefloor fillers and soulful sounds around from the globe.

Their smooth slow disco sound has reached the attention of DJ Supermarkt very quickly. They were part of a lot of YACHT DISCO EDIT compilations so far.

The duo already released music for Midnight Riot, Too Slow Too Disco, Act Of Sedition, Bonfido Disques, Spincat Music, Little Jack, a.m.m.

In between they have released a 2 track EP with Dim Zach and an official remix for Swiss talent Animor.

Following the immediate success of the first two releases on A&R Edits, issued side by side back in May, comes the third instalment, a split 12” with transatlantic reworks served up by the UK’s Sophie Lloyd and the USA’s F.A.M.E. collective.

First up under the re-edit razor is Herb Alpert's 'Rise', a track that reached number one on the US chart upon its release in 1979, making Alpert the first (and only) artist to reach Billboard’s Hot 100 with a vocal ('This Guy's in Love with You', 1968) as well as an instrumental performance. ‘Rise’ was also famously played on import by DJ’s on the UK Jazz-Funk scene at 45rpm (rather than the correct speed, 33rpm). In 1997, the track found a new lease of life when sampled by Sean 'Puffy' Combs, becoming the instrumental bed for Notorious B.I.G.'s hip-hop classic, 'Hypnotise'. Now, 16 years on, London-based producer and DJ Sophie Lloyd breathes fresh life into this infectious groove, crafting a timely dubbed-out rework that's been a highlight of Greg Wilson's sets this summer.

On the flip, the Detroit collective F.A.M.E. don their disco guise for 'Love Making Love 2 U', an edit of the cult 1981 Boogie cut, ‘I Love Makin Love To You’ by Mel Sheppard, another choice tune for Wilson this festival season. The edit first came to his attention when he went to Detroit in June to play the Movement Festival Appreciation Party at the TV Lounge and, during the afternoon soundcheck, heard DJ Mike Petrack playing it. After enquiring, Mike gave Greg a copy, which he played that night to great response. It was also at this same event that he first played Sophie’s ‘Rise’ edit: Gregwilson – Movement-appreciation-party-tv

So both tracks, with their Detroit connection and raw-edge in common, seemed a solid combination for an A&R release.

took out the vocals  of this Bob Sinclar remix slowed it down  looped it with some effects to make it instrumental as i felt it sounded much better without the ooo baby shizzle  buts that just my opinion
