Another day in shimmering heat
The city life closes down on me
Strangling tentakles
I‘m trying to catch my breath
Why can‘t I just break my chains
and leave this crowded place
I‘m longing to see your endless sky

Your waves wash away my sorrow and fears
Your salty wind dries up all my tears
one day I‘m gonna stay by your side
Settle down at this ocean‘s shore 

Another month in the faceless crowd
Everyone secluded in a world of his own
a bunch of loner sharks
The cold is creeping up my back
Why can‘t the sun melt the walls
and soften the petrified hearts

My Five Senses

What is that noise that shatters my peace
Who's screams are hauting my dreams
You tell me I've nothing to fear

There's pain and suffering all around
And there's no excuse for it I believe
Though you say that this sickness will heal
That it's all in my mind it's unreal
But I was born with heart that can feel

I am blessed with five senses
But I can't make sense out of this

My Gecko Does Tricks

My gecko does tricks
My new green companion
I watch him, as his eyes he licks
I watch him, at the ceiling
You funny little spiderman
What else can you learn

My gecko does tricks 
He‘s not just walking up walls
I taught him to jump through rings
I taught him to juggle balls
So smart my little lizard
He quickly captured my heart

My gecko does tricks
See he calls me chirping
And get trapped by his gaze

Now I dance in trance
This vicious little wizard

I trained my gecko at least I tought
But now he‘s staring at me
his gaze fixed out of eyes without lids
the pupil just a narrow slit
I‘m wondering which tricks 
is he playing
on me?

Cable Spaghetti

one times two - meters wooden board 
Two hundred plus one - papers piling high
And I don‘t know - I just don‘t know
If it‘s ten or just two - cables in this great big knot
I‘m living in a great big mess	
and all that‘s left to eat I guess

A New Day 

I open my eyes, a new day
But I can‘t believe what I see
my hometown bombed and in ruins 
covered by a thin layer of snow

We were torn from our sleep in the night 
when the bombs started to fall
we fled to the shelter in fright
and huddled together like cows

Tears on my cheeks freeze to ice
my heart was torn from my life
I‘m passing the church, where we kissed
The walls raise black from the smoke 

My feet are numb from the cold

Done for a FAWM challenge of using the sound of the gravitational waves in a song. Challenge was to use the sound of the gravitational waves in a song.
