Mary J. Blige is one of R&B's greatest ever singers. She has sold more than 50 million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. Billboard ranked Blige as the most successful female R&B artist of the past 25 years.

This mix takes you on trip down memory lane with some of her urban club bangers from different era's.

With a catalog of over 150 radio charted songs we could probably make 10 different versions of the "Best Of" mix but hopefully these here capture majority of the club bangers. A 60 min mix that incorporates Slow Jam R&B tunes from the early to mid 90's. No doubt in my mind that this era of music represents the Golden Standard for R&B Music. There were so many great acts producing absolutely timeless music including the likes of Keith Sweat, Jodeci, H-Town, Shai, Aaliyah, Changing Faces Janet Jackson & more.

There used to be time when you would go to the club and DJ would play a full hour of blues.....yes a full hour!! Hopefully this takes you back to that good place (Well in some cases it may be a bad place......there were many of us (ahem) who would hate the blues hour especially if you had no one to slow dance with or what we like to call "breezing" in Nairobi).

DJ TopDonn is a co-founder of the Afrodisiac Management Group and an internationally renowned DJ & entertainment entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience.

          Originally hailing from Nairobi, Kenya, DJ TopDonn's involvement on the Afro Urban music scene has seen him grace the stage in various capacities with industry heavyweights such as Mafikizolo, Koffi Olomide, Fally Ipupa, Serge Beynaud, Les Nubians, Angelique Kidjo & Yossou N'dour.

         A veteran of the club scene both locally an internationally, DJ TopDonn’s versatility stretches out to his work on radio where he served as on air talent for various shows including "Africa Beat" on on K.Z.U.M 89.3 FM, Power 92.3FM Afrozons show as well a 3 year residency on XM Radio's Ngoma 102 channel, where he provided weekly mixes for the "Moto Mix"
