"Samurai Bebop" is a jazzy and upbeat EP which is heavily inspired by Jazzhop, Jazz Vibes, traditional japanese music and early instrumental Hip Hop artists like Nujabes. Tophat Panda shows how modern lofi can be combined with estatic jazzy live instrumentation from Horns to Trumpets and adds a touch of asian culture to the mix. He coins this new direction "Japanese Jazzhop" and hopes to bring some new refreshing tunes into the current lofi world. Perfect to listen on a lazy sunday afternoon. 🎹🎺🎵⛩️

"Divine Soul" is the second single anticipating the new album of Tophat Panda "Beauty". 🌺 
It is an inspirative song that expresses vitality, happiness and the freedom of soul thanks to the uplifting instruments used. To me, the song is about finding happiness within ourselves, healing body and mind by appreciating the many facets of the beauty of life around us and being open to new experiences and discoveries, whether within ourselves or in the nature around us. I hope it conveys the same message to you ☯️.

The fresh fusion of soothing saxophone melodies, jazzy piano motives and various eastern flutes and strings like the Erhu, Bawu or Xiao bring chill asian vibes to the composition. The arrangement is topped up with an orchestral addition of Strings, Oboes, Bassoons and flutes. 🎹🎷 

For this album I was heavily inspired by jazz, soul and instrumental hip hop influences especially artists like  @Nujabes  ,  @Kenichiro Nishihara & Jazcrafts   , Uyama Hiroto and many more. I dearly hope you enjoy this project as it comes from deep in my heart ❤️
