Miss Mac used to call this the ‘Lawnmower Prelude’ due to its almost mechanical-sounding movement and momentum; I’ve never forgotten that. Students love the patterns and the Alberti bass movements, which are found in both hands. From bar 5, keep the LH bass lightly detached to let the RH melody sing. Students will learn a lot from listening to Bach’s grand Toccata and Fugue in D Minor while learning this piece as there are elements from that epic work dotted throughout this piece, most notably the similar ending.

I love what Axwell did with this. Music & Lyrics by Stevie Nicks, who re-recorded the vocal for Deep Dish. The song was a Billboard Hot  #1 hit for Nicks off of Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" album.
