Hi, I’m Tara! I am a mom of two boys and live just north of San Francisco, California. I fell in love with the piano at four years old. I started teaching at fourteen and composing at sixteen—eventually releasing four albums that can be heard on Spotify, Apple Music, and Pandora.

I created my own method of teaching known as Cascade Method. While I was trained classically, I have a deep passion for teaching fun and modern methods so that students fall in love with the piano and have a desire to play for life! I received my bachelor’s degree in music therapy, with a focus in special-needs education so that I could study the psychology behind learning music and help make the piano accessible and fun for anyone to learn!
