One year after his debut release on Top Shelf Disco (aside from a couple cheeky edits on our free download compilations) we welcome back our beloved resident Racket Club with his brand new track “Run It Back”. In this year’s drop we start with North Carolina resident @Diskull who sampled the German Techno song used in Super Troopers (Bubbles - Bidibodi Bidibu, IYKYK). This one’s a straight Tech-House heater and we wouldn’t expect anything less from Diskull who we met a couple years ago at EDC after he won the Discovery contest and threw down an insane set.

"Studio 99" started as the brainchild of Delpretti from Venezuela. Delpretti and I (GRAYMATTER) have collaborated in the past and I am consistently impressed with his ability to expand his creative reach to every house genre. The idea for "Studio 99" was to create a fun summertime, disco track that would pay homage to the height of the disco era. After Delpretti sent me the start of the track, I felt like I wanted to add something new and fresh and the best way to do that was to find a vocalist that would fit the vibe. Gaby Borromeo saw me DJ a set as a part of Seattle's "Yuri's Night," a night of dancing and fun inside Seattle's Museum of Flight (hosted by Noise Complaint), and she hit me up to tell me about her wonderful experience! After checking out her page, I discovered what a talented vocalist she was and how she would be perfect for "Studio 99". Chatting for a few months, we met up at my studio and recorded not only her, but her boyfriend, as well, and I couldn't believe the gem I had just found! Flash forward to today, Gaby and I are good friends and plan on working on plenty more material for the future! "Studio 99" is a collaboration between three artists, diving into a genre that they never expected to make, but are all proud of and excited for everyone to hear!

If you know his music you know he has a love for bass-driven House and Tech-House and he’s all about that percussion section given his drum lessons that started in 4th grade. As always, his goal was to make a peak-hour dance floor bomb and when he pictures booties shaking, you know those booties are gonna be shaking. We’re treated to some fun horns and playful synth melodies but overall the drive and grit is what powers this one home, dusted with a nice array of ear candy.

Well when we say this track is smooth, we mean this track is 'smoother than an egg' smooth. We are stoked to be welcoming back Walt-J, an artist who has found recent success with previous releases with Boogietraxx and other singles that have made waves in the disco/house realm on Trax, Good For You Records, and Arboolreal Records respectively.

Oh La La is nothing short of one of our favorite tracks of the year.
