Nach langer Suche nach einem geeigneten Intro für meine Mixe habe ich mich entschlossen, mich selber an einem zu probieren.

After a long search for a suitable intro for my mixes, I decided to try making one myself.

Intro the falling Ring

This is a remake of my original "Legacy of the 90s" done entirely on a Roland MT-32 module. I did this sometime back in 2013 and forgotten about it, but dug it out recently. The 8-Bit Guy is using this version in his latest episode about the MT-32 module. ;)

The Quiggles - Observatory

So, what if you wanna play DOOM E1M1 on a Roland MKS-80 - aka Super Jupiter? Well, now you can hear what that sounds like!

This is a remix and an extrapolation of the famous E1M1 theme from Robert Prince and ID Software arranged and recorded using the legendary MKS-80 (something between the Roland Jupiter 6 and Jupiter 8). All sounds are made with the MKS-80, except the drums which are samples from Retro Drummer (Zenhiser) and my trusty Yamaha Motif XS-7 (hihats, cymbals and some percussion).

Now go out and frag some demons from hell! That's an order, marine! ;)
