Tori Cross is a singer-songwriter currently living in Liverpool. Her raw and melodic sound draws the audience in and allows them to hear her story. Tori Cross has been performing with Leminski Academy of Dance since she was 7 years old, but began writing songs at the age of 16 when she enrolled in a performing arts academy in Birmingham to study music. Tori moved to Liverpool in 2013 to study music further at University, and continued to perform in the local music scene, performing solo with her guitar at open mic nights and gigs in Liverpool and Birmingham, and backing singing for local artists XamVolo and Galactic Funk Militia at festivals and various gigs. Tori draws on influences such as Corrine Bailey, Lianne La Havas, Gabirelle Aplin and Adele, to create her own unique sound. Tori has recently been chosen as part of the Top 20 for Limf academy 2017-18.

Calling You Out

Tori Cross is a London based soul singer and songwriter originally hailing from Birmingham in the UK. Tori has been making music for around ten years now, and is excited to finally release her very first EP project ‘Full Circle’ in January 2025. 
In the past year, Tori has released four tracks in the lead up to her EP, with her single ‘Heaven (Why Didn’t You Call Me?)’ written just before her Grandpa’s funeral, achieving a placement on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist. 

Venturing across the pond, Tori performed her very first sold out show in New York this September and hopes to be back in the US very soon. 
Citing jazz influences such as Adelaide Hall in her music, she had the pleasure of singing during the unveiling of Adelaide’s blue plaque at the home she resided in once moving to London from New York. This was aired on BBC News in Summer 2024. 

Growing up listening to the likes of Amy Winehouse, Adele, Lianne La Havas and Corrine Bailey Rae, Tori’s music crosses the boundaries of jazz, soul and acoustic pop.

Tori likes to keep herself busy, and when she’s not doing music she’s modelling for brands up and down the country. Having recently begun taking acting classes, you may see her music video game take a step up in the new year.
