Renowned for consistently pushing and exploring the boundaries of DJing, he enjoys finding unusual “frequencies, silence, and gaps” by playing records at the wrong speed, most influentially - giving 90’s trance a dark and EBM-influenced feel by slowing them down. Sharing music to provoke an emotive reaction, Ivkovic reaches for genres not usually heard on the dancefloor: “If you can make someone cry, maybe by accident, with a selection of music, it's a beautiful thing.”

For anyone who's caught a Tony Neptune set, either online or offline, you'll know the Leeds DJ, producer and Dimensions DJ Directory member doesn't do things in half measures. 

As both Tony and his other alias Yuri - a tip of the hat to Yuri Gagarin, the first human to journey into outer space - he's no stranger to 6-hour long mixes, sometimes immortalised in his lengthy back-to-backs with fellow Leeds DJ Mark 'Turbo' Turner. 

Last month he shared his first productions with the world; a debut EP titled Reflections on a Daring Escape that moves through emotive electro and further serves as a vehicle for Neptune to tell a story for the senses, by combining his own visual paintings with the music. 

In typical fashion for his Shine A Light On mix he delivers a live recording from his three hour set at Gut Level, a party in Sheffield, just before lockdown commenced. A journey through everything from oddball wave to slow industrial, EBM, new wave and electro, the mix picks up the pace continuing to build until its climax...

She worked, performed and co-wrote with many artists including Nicolas Jaar, Jandek, Helm, Raime, Malcom Catto, Charles Haywards, Graham Lewis (Wire, Dome), Tightpaul Sandra (Coil, Spiritualized, Julian Cope), Thurston Moore, Bat for Lashes, Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals), Lafawndah and many more. Valentina has released two solo records and few other collaborative records as UUUU, Vanishing Twin and CZN. "I am Colombian-born, north of France raised, currently based in Lille, French Flanders capital. I play pretty much every style from ambient music to new beat via Italo/dub disco. I've got affection for a wide range of music. One adjective: esoteric selection.

Thanks again to Alec for giving me this opportunity to express myself on his channel. I wanted to build a multi-genre mix but with a real guideline, playing only 80's & 90's sounds. The result is a mix of breaks, slow trance, dub techno with a little touch of Balearic & house music.
