Athens based DJ/Producer Saccao and Israeli DJ/Producer Ran Salman may be separated by different countries, however, their musical thinking is perfectly conjoined. These two dance music maestros have combined forces with vocalist Lostcause for an epic release on King Street titled "Places". A single that contains both groove and soul. First is a groovy Indie Dance remix by DJ/Production duo of Manos and Rafael Cerato a.k.a Inner Rebels. Next up is Chris IDH using some hypnotic vocal loops in this peak time remix. Tosel & Hale delivers a deeper vocal version. Finally, Brazilian power duo Flow & Zeo take up remix duty for an incredibly funky and musical re-edit. Also included is "Places (Original Mix)" which is an excellent indie dance anthem perfect for your next gig.

In a world of pop-star DJs, short shelf-lives and shorter attention spans, Jim
x album in 2001. Five years later he released one of the high points of the hugely respected Balance series, a triple cd showcasing his range as a DJ, and still widely regarded as one of the finest mix compilations ever made. 2012 saw Jimmy return to Bedrock, this time as one half of the Audible Suspects, teaming up with legend Oliver Lieb to again deliver something really special, the aptly named ‘Collaborations’.

Jimmy has also made his mark as a producer, with early tracks such as ‘Sanctuary’, ‘E.C.I. – P.S.’ and ‘Love Like Sleep’ featuring on compilations from Sasha, Digweed and Dave Seaman, and becoming firm fixtures in the progressive canon. Jimmy’s more recent work with vocalist Steve T saw him back in the boxes of the world’s finest DJs, ‘My Eyes’ receiving a massive three-part remix package on Proton and ‘We Are Children’ providing a highlight of both John Digweed’s Structures 2 album and Dave Seaman’s most recent Renaissance Masters Series. Despite this success, Jimmy felt like he needed to go back to basics in the studio, and so when he moved to Frankfurt to work on the ‘Collaborations’ album he also took the opportunity to spend a year learning production values from the master, Oliver Lieb.

The past year has seen Jimmy take the knowledge and skills he acquired in Frankfurt to the very heart of the recent musical explosion in South America, Buenos Aires. Living in Argentina has enabled Jimmy to bring something of his Delta Heavy concept to the country, letting him reach audiences in the smaller cities which, despite being all too often overlooked by big name DJs, are just as ready to party as their counterparts in better known destinations. Jimmy has also established his own studio in Buenos Aires, working with the Spanish producer Affkt’s mastering studio Pobla.es to make sure his ideas are fully realized. Recent tracks on RLS and RELEASE and collaborations with rising Argentinian star Adrian Hour have given us a hint of what’s in store. But with his creativity on overdrive and now the studio in Beirut and residency at BO18, you’ll need to keep watching this space to see where Jimmy Van M takes us next.

Ian Tosel & Dean Hale are two DJs, remixers and producers, born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece.

They started dealing with music in 2000 and producing in 2005.

Since then, they have their own studio and for the following 5 years, they were experimenting on various genres of electronic music. Influenced by the sounds of those years, their productions sound like tribal and progressive house.

Next 2 years were spent looking for the sound that fits their taste and finally they decide to completely change their style.This is when the project of ‘’Tosel & Hale’’ was born, in the year of 2012.

Deep, melodic rhythms, nu-disco elements and fat basslines, consist Tosel & Hale’s sound, influenced by artists like Patrick Podage, Finnebassen, Larse, Monte, Martin Dawson etc.

They have collaborated with artists like Marc O’ Tool, Mark Lower, Rob Made, Haze-M, Anton Ishutin, Aytac Kart, Saccao, Heavy Pins, Ran Salman, Shimmer, Patrick Podage, Moe Turk, just to name a few and their releases are on labels such as Spirit Soul Records, StayFly Records, Sleazy Deep, Κing Street Sounds, Indiana Tones, Dear Deer Records, Neon Stardust, Déepalma Records, Kiez Beats, Beachside Records, Adult Music Records, etc.

Since March 2014, they have their own monthly podcast on Spirit Soul Records, while their radio shows on Athens’ ’’88.6 UP Radio’’ and Pure.FM (Los Angeles, U.S.) are on air once a month as well.
