It's been a hot minute since I put together a mixtape designed for chilling out - so I put together some tunes I've been chilling out to in hopes of creating a couple of hot minutes for ya'll to vibe to. 

The initial intention behind this one was Valentine's day, but as the day approached, and my lack of valentine at present looming in the back of my mind, I wondered why I was doing this and it slowly evolved into something I can only describe as a love letter written to myself.

I know it sounds a little corny, but there are so many ways to give love in this world and we tend to hyper focus and romanticize the love that is given to a single other person. But love for the world, love for life, love for yourself - are all just as important. So this one goes out to everyone in the world giving the love they have, no matter the type, and hopefully it encourages a feeling inside you that fosters love for yourself and everything - because those that love it all are often the best lovers.

It also goes pretty good with dinner, the beach, backyards, rides home, last thing at night, first thing in the morning, with friends, with more than friends, or just vibing alone with you and you. Y'know, that sorta thang. I hope you love it as much as I do <3.

My intention for this set was to bring all kinds of fun, danceable energy to kick off the final evening of the festival. What would I want at that point in the rave? Mixed genre, bass-driven beats, hints of nostalgia, songs that make your booty bounce. The energy in the Unicorn Lounge was palpable - I hope you like the mix :)

At times I serenaded you with soulful reggae; at times, I shelled you with basslines — all straight from my tender heart to yours. Massive thanks to the Akisq’nuk First Nation, the Wicked Woods crew, and ever-expanding gratitude to Indigogh (Jackson), who mastered a track the night before I left for the Woods of Whimsy — so I could bathe the forest creatures in proper root chakra frequencies.

Check out @Indigogh — an insanely talented, grounded, and humble homie based in Vancouver, with some enchanting-as-fuck projects in the pipeline.

Live at Wicked Woods and the Unicorn Lounge; the sun blazed, the air shimmered, and the forest pulsed with life. Our first festival set unfolded magically in the daylight... it was a surge of rhythm and heat, with portal-opening bass rolling out beneath the open sky. Joy sparked, bodies moved, and the moment took our breath away. Thank you to all that were a part of such an incredible experience, one we will never forget!

This set was the biggest surprise of my summer. 10 days before Shambhala, I was offered a slot at the new Riverside Stage. I wasn't even planning on attending this year. I've been waiting for an offer like this a reeeal looong time. I've only played Shamb once before in 2018 at the Village for the Ragga Jungle Rinseout with my homie Orilla (RIP). It is a cherished memory. So finally getting a full set was a dream come true and I am overjoyed to share with you one of the bucketlist sets of my career! I played at 5pm on Thursday so I didn't wanna bang it out or go too heavy, just happy and energetic. Felt like i was starting the party. I was working on a housey summer mix at the time which i kinda scrapped and turned into this set, so it starts off very summertime pool party vibes but then goes into all my favorite tunes I've been rinsing this summer. And now it's here for your listening pleasure, I hope you dig it... and let's hope it won't be the last!
