This months mix is by Lulu. She is based in Amsterdam, and has been a prominent figure in pushing the Amsterdam scene for years, contributing to the Strange Sounds From Beyond period and in recent days co-programming the Amsterdam internet ‘Radio Tempo Não Pára' and holding a residency at Garage Noord. 
While the clubs turned into empty spaces, Lulu spend her time studying the social significance of sound within her field Anthropology. We are glad to have her contributing to the Knekelhuis mix series with a firework mix. 
Spoken word, industrial dub, mutant pop and rap music come together in a web of very clever breaking rhythms. Dismantling tempo changes flying around fast in this contrary cross-cultural track selection. Thank you Lulu!

Travis Thatcher records music and has been restoring and building electronic bits under the name Voice of Saturn for over 15 years. With releases on Woodford Halse (UK) and DKA Records Thatcher has kept this solo project focused on using vintage and self-built analog synthesizers, drum machines and analog tape for music that ranges from krautrock to techno to psych to minimal wave. His collaborative musical projects include Personal Bandana (Woodford Halse), Altra (DKA), and Space-Saver (Hiccup Records). Thatcher is also an active mixing and mastering engineer, having mastered the majority of the DKA Records catalog.
