Jan Goertz's creative work is largely driven by the desire to test and redefine his limits in competition with technology. This is one of the reasons why he is known for his 4-deck mixes containing a multitude of tracks. First two and then three players simply became too boring for him. The motivation to DJ, however, also comes from the calmness that is triggered in his otherwise very bustling head during the process. And of course the fun!

His goal in djing is the creation of an "endless groove". By breaking up track structures, Jan wants to form a mix as a "unity from its individual parts, instead of just stringing songs together". He prefers to play with four players.

Primarily, Jan draws inspiration from the club context - both as a guest and as an artist. For him, techno is first and foremost "functional and works for and in a club. That's what this music is made for."

Nevertheless the layering wizard also tries to combine smooth vibes with strong grooves for his podcasts and the pleasure of listening techno outside of a club.

DJ, producer and promoter, born in Olsztyn, Poland, based in Manchester, UK. Adrian started his journey with electronic music as a teenager through listening and raving in his hometown, after moving to Manchester in his early twenties started DJing and producing various genres of electronic music, under different alias. Since 2021 Adrian started new alias SKZ focused strictly on hypnotic, textured but still very driving techno.

He’s also co-founder of event series, podcast and platform called Refractiøn (@refraction_mcr) that showcased their vision in venues such as Manchester’s DBA, Rebellion or Three City’s Crackhouse. 

Despite short time of a project he already had a pleasure to share a stage with artists like Nørbak, A.Morgan, Flaws or Szmer.

Hi guys! This is set from my last gig at Fabric Ostrava where i played alongside the great Takaaki Itoh and Slovakia legend Loktibrada.

My time was 9pm so i played slower than usual (128-132bpm) but there was a great energy from the beginning and i really enjoyed playing warm up for this incredible night!

Sound researcher in the studio, chaos creator in the dancefloor.
Giuseppe started DJing in 2001. A few years later he starts his career in the studio producing Hardcore, achieving international success, and performing at major festivals, mainly in the Netherlands.

In 2014 he produces something different from the usual, something he had long desired for. And thus D-Leria came to life releasing several EP’s developing his new style, until joining the young label Delirio as both a musician and a manager, hosting artists such as Stanislav Tolkackev, Simone Giudice, Retina.it, Key Clef, and more, with the aim of spreading a single message: the live recording.

 In September 2017 he moved to Berlin to find new ideas and continue working on his first album 'Driving to Nowhere’ which took five years of production.

The album immediately gained the attention of many artists allowing him to join some year later labels such as Avian, Semantica, Non-Series and more. During summer 2022, D-Leria has launched his Modular-Live act.

Oscar Mulero @ Calambre Techno 1997

This month on PoleGroup radio we are going to listen to a mix from P.E.A.R.L., the Berlin based spanish artist has recorded it in his studio including tracks from Kastil, Varg, SSTROM, Exium and Zenker Brothers to name a few of them.

P.E.A.R.L. has released an EP lately on the Dutch label "Mord" called "Life Of Pleasures", and there are 2 EP's coming up on his own label Falling Ethics after summer. The first of them is a split EP  with Oscar Mulero which is planned to be released at the end of September.

You can see P.E.A.R.L. playing on june 21 at Instytut Festival in Poland as CRVEL together with Tensal and on July 19 you can see him playing in Tresor in Berlin for the next PoleGroup showcase.

In her aspiring career, beginning at age 16, Lindsey Herbert has continued to drift towards the deeper realms of techno, constantly honing her craft as a DJ and getting involved with the thriving scene in San Francisco. Fast-forward to 2020 and Lindsey has truly become a recognized name in her city and beyond, in large part thanks to her unique signature sets — true journeys that explore alternating soundscapes laced together by dark, deep and heavy textures, as well psychedelic elements and ethereal melodies. With tour dates that have brought her to international venues playing beside top name DJs, she is an artist to watch.

Lindsey’s hard work over the years has paid off, gaining her residencies with San Francisco’s Robot Ears for the past five years, as well as earning a spot on the roster of Berlin-based agency, Point Collective. She has played coveted gigs in Detroit, Chicago, Athens, Istanbul, and throughout Germany, as well as her recent debut in the legendary Tresor Berlin and Gate Club in Batumi, Georgia.

Lindsey's debut in the production realm was in September 2018 with a remix of Martyn Päsch's track 'Sacred' on KVLTÖ Records. Her debut solo EP was released in 2019 on LA-based label Ascetic Limited with a remix from Motionen.

TØSSi, a Techno DJ and producer hailing from the Czech Republic, based in Ostrava. He embarked on his musical journey in the industry in 2018 when he decided to step behind the decks, gaining a new perspective on parties from the DJ's point of view. With a longstanding passion for music, he aspired to share his love for it with people.

Initially starting with tech-house, TØSSi's affinity for dark sounds led him to transition to techno relatively quickly. Over the years, he has explored various styles within the techno genre, evolving towards a darker and faster sound, including raw and hypnotic techno, as well as hard groove techno.

In 2023, TØSSi joined the Alliance of Music team, becoming an integral part of the AoM crew. Since then, they have been actively involved in building and supporting the underground techno scene in Ostrava. Their mission is to showcase this unique style of music to as many people as possible, aiming to draw them into the captivating world of the underground.
