Manchester's Dub Smugglers return with another soundsystem scorcher, linking up with UK legend Top Cat for "The Youth". A dubwise bass heavy riddim provides the perfect foundation for Top Cat to run lyrics in his trademark style and pattern, giving a rousing lesson for the kids of today. Taken from their forthcoming album "Earn Your Stripes" its a perfect distillation of the Dub Smugglers sound.

Remixes come from fellow Manchester donny Chimpo who flips the tempo to an all out junglist stormer, already causing some mischief as a dub for the last few months. Head of Hull's Dub Junction label Simma also steps up to deliver a heavy hip hop reggae hybrid, complete with a dub version to take things deeper.

Last year, reggae legends Da Fuchaman and General Levy united for "Welcome, a track bursting with warmth and positivity, with Da Fuchaman’s rich vocal tones blending effortlessly with General Levy’s signature high-energy delivery, creating a UK reggae anthem built on unity and good vibes. Now, the mighty Serial Killaz step in to flip this reggae gem into two heavyweight drum & bass remixes, taking the original’s essence and charging it with full-throttle jungle energy.

First up, Serial Killaz rework "Welcome" into a high-powered drum & bass roller, adding tight, rolling percussion, deep subs, and the original’s signature skanking groove. A long long time ago in a multiverse far far away, I found time in my life to record a new mix set…   From deep in the conflict area of the Jungle, from a secret rebel base, this recording was made using 100% solar power, in an ecological studio made from palms, vines, mud and sustainably harvested timber, using the same turn tables I’ve owned since 1996, I’m happy to bring to you the set I mixed for a party at El Rio Hostal “Secret Walls” on the 6th of April 2025, 
"Rebel Force One". I'd like to send a massive shout out to all the amazing producers who keep me fueled with high end ordnance and all the top shelf ravers that keep me motivated to play DnB!!!

Desde lo profundo de la zona de conflicto de la Jungla, desde una base rebelde secreta, esta grabación se realizó con energía solar al 100%, en un estudio ecológico hecho de palmeras, bejucos, barro y madera de cosecha sostenible, usando los mismos torna mesas que tengo desde 1996.
