After his contemplative drum & bass track on Unbeyond Anthology Two, new inductee Ojela returns to the label with a new 5-track project hot off the presses, “SOUL PLEASER”.

Opening on the textural title track, Ojela’s immaculate production and atmospheres are immediately on display with rattling IDM percussion and ethereal pads. “VOLTAGE” introduces more introspective melodics and a steadier drumline, maintaining the same rich soundscape of clattering sound design. “b with u” picks up the tempo and is underpinned by glitchy vocals and fluttering hi-hats.

“LIQUID DREAM” sees Ojela bringing in techno influence on the EP’s longest track, making for a journey of a song that evolves dramatically over its runtime and comes to an energized four-on-the-floor climax. “THAT FLOWER U GAVE ME” closes out the EP with gorgeous ambient pads and a peaceful atmosphere, capping off one of the most detailed and rich projects of 2025.

“‘SOUL PLEASER’ is the second EP in my discography as Ojela and my favorite project to date. It’s a personal exploration of sound that has quietly taken shape over the years, now finding its place within Unbeyond Anthologies. The project blends maritime atmospheres with traces of Future Garage, Ambient, Trance, and Techno, not as fixed genres, but as emotional landscapes.” said Ojela. “The title speaks to a role I often find myself in: somewhere between composer and jester, trying to offer something sincere, even if it comes from the edge of uncertainty."
