A key figure in the Teklife crew, HEAVEE continues to push the boundaries of Chicago Footwork, blending cutting-edge sound design with the genre’s raw energy. Across four new tracks, Charged Up 2 stays true to its roots while exploring bold new textures. At times, it evokes what a collaboration between SOPHIE and DJ Rashad might have sounded like.

From high-energy, dancefloor-ready 160 BPM bangers to ethereal, dreamlike moments, Charged Up 2 showcases HEAVEE’s distinct sonic palette. This release is the perfect follow-up to his 2024 Moveltraxx EP and further cements his reputation as a forward-thinking force in electronic music.

[PREMIERE] Heavee - Pop'N & Drop'N (Moveltraxx)

Newcastle-based DJ and producer melba drops a quartet of tracks on Hypercolour. The ‘angel 777’ EP blends 160 BPM rhythms, punchy 808s and bright, playful synths for a fresh and fearless take on club music.

Since launching her inaugural single ‘Insatiable’ for Gimme A Break, melba has delivered a string of razor-sharp releases via imprints like Stereo 45, Vief Records and Sherelle’s Hooversound Recordings, with steady support from DJ heavyweights such as LCY, DJ Flight, and Ehua.

Across four meticulously crafted tracks, melba explores the intersection of heavy bass pressure and hyper-melodic expression through the lens of uptempo club music like Chicago footwork.
