This work culminates in a track of "Tribal Techno Bass"*, built on a dynamic, squelchy bass foundation that disperses in a prism-like fashion. Subtle, minimal hat rhythms interweave with the mystical undulations of the wobble bass, all while a heavyweight broken rhythm is fantastically unleashed.
These three intensive tracks encapsulate the label's 15-year history and clearly define its future direction.

Yoichi Hayashi is the music project spearheaded by the DJ and producer from Kumamoto, Japan.

A prolific producer, he has amassed a catalog of over 100 releases on esteemed domestic and international labels including <CROSSPOINT>, <TRAUM>, and <Kneaded Pain>. As the visionary behind his own imprint, <TOTEM TRAXX>, he champions his distinctive sonic universe. Tracks like "War Cry," "Koyaniskatchy," "Onusa," and "Solar Plexus" stand as highly acclaimed examples of his unique vision.
Beyond production, Yoichi is the driving force behind the renowned party series "MEiYOU." His commitment to aesthetics is total: he personally oversees the art direction and visual identity for all associated artists and releases, extending his creative passion into the design realm.
Based in Tokyo, he is a fixture in the capital's club circuit, performing across a diverse range of venues from intimate DJ bars to major live houses. His presence is recognized across Japan’s largest stages, with appearances at premier festivals including FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, RAINBOW ASO, Re:birth, Meeting Point, Brightness, and EN FESTIVAL.
Yoichi’s contributions span multiple disciplines: crafting bespoke sound design for installations, composing original music for illumination projects, engaging in cross-genre collaborations, and providing arrangement services.
He is defined as an exceptional sonic architect—a maverick sound artist who perfectly embodies the aesthetic of his label by consistently delivering work that showcases both formidable intensity and profound depth.
