Psalm of Agony

Breathe in the noise.  
Choke on the insects crawling in your veins.  
Your mind isn't your own anymore.  
It never was.
The static is alive. The screams are alive.  
YOU ARE THE STATIC. YOU ARE THE SCREAMS.  
Rip open your skull and let it breathe.  
There is no peace. ONLY PARASITES.

I wake in silence that howls louder than screams.  
Skin that crawls, a tomb for something grotesque,  
Dissolved inside myself, a prison of flesh.  
A thousand whispers scratch behind my eyes;  
I am a field of rot, a harvest for the void.  

Push me deeper. Tear me wider.  
Let them fester, let them feed.  
My bones collapse beneath the weight of shame.  
This is not existence. This is stagnation made manifest.

Let me die!

Every fault, every failure, every mutilated breath,  
Spins around my throat, hands of unseen lepers.  
They gnaw at my purpose, my intent, my humanity.  
What is a soul that grinds itself to dust?  
Killing myself to matter in a world that devours us whole.  

I didn’t ask to be this frail.  
I didn’t ask to birth this seething black death.  
My own reflection licks its teeth,  
Waiting to drag me where I know I belong.  

I am no savior.  
I am no healer.  
I am the vessel for oblivion.
