Totescity is Doodle Do and Gables, a production and DJ duo reigning in Las Vegas. The pair has had much success on the West Coast for their monthly parties, including First Fridays at Artifice Bar, a monthly event that won them Las Vegas Weekly's 2012 award for "Best Non-Nightclub Party." Also in 2012 they had a successful run of weekly Indie-dance nights on the Las Vegas strip called The CUT, hosted at the Luxor's posh nightclub Savile Row. The duo is a frequent guest at the Bump N' Grind, a successful throwback monthly party in Los Angeles. Totescity is also the creators of the Bicycle Prom, a twice yearly prom themed dance party for cycling and bike friendly enthusiasts sponsored by MASH and Cadence, hosted in Las Vegas's burgeoning downtown district. Along with their regional success, they have a growing notoriety on the internet's blogosphere for their remixes, mashups, and mix tapes that include reworks of artists such as Yacht, The XX, The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey, and many others. Their musical format is open and loose and includes elements of indie dance, pop, funk, soul, nu-disco, 80s, 90s, hip-hop, trap, dub step, worldbeat, and house. Along with their diverse yet accessible musical array they program and create live visual elements for their events in the way of live video mixing. These video elements set a tone for the evening and accompany the musical format in a manner that facilitates hyped-up dance floors.
