Connecting his raw emotional feelings with the steady thrum of kick drums and basslines, Ali Demir considers his musical selections his own powerful form of personal therapy. Having grown up in Antakya (aka Antioch the city of civilizations), his early childhood years were heavily influenced by the ancient ethnic melodies that permeate both time and culture. Firing a desire to connect them with a more modern electronic style. That desire is still burning bright to this day, and currently materializing in the form of polished vinyl releases from acclaimed labels like @Modeight-Records & his upcoming 4-tracker on @USeries Records. His specialty is the curiously familiar sonic space that's both dark and mystical. Balancing rhythmic prowess with an almost otherworldly blend of textures and overlays.

But words are somewhat limited in their descriptive efforts, so it's with great pleasure we offer up this superb mix from Ali, featuring 100% of his own solo material. Defining his sound at this time with mostly unreleased originals.

From Australia's East Coast, we have the privilege of receiving one of the most dynamic sets ever heard on a:ritmi:a: @katharine-motiontheory. With over 20 years of experience curating music, Katharine has played at numerous residencies and parties, honing a unique approach to selecting music. Alongside her partners Ben Abrahams and Jules David, Katharine also founded and continues to work on their label Motion:Theory:Music.

It's quite challenging to capture the vast array of styles you can hear and feel throughout the entire set. However, you can effortlessly perceive the wide range of sounds that Katharine seamlessly incorporates without overwhelming the listener. From subtle transitions between minimal, micro, deep, and dark, to unexpected twists and turns, she maintains a strict, clean selection and mixing style.

Meet Robert Ostan, an electronic symphonist hailing from the vibrant city of Iasi, Romania. Delving into the realm of tech house in 2016, Robert's journey began when he discovered the genre's innate ability to convey an infectious energy and good vibe. Immersing himself in the pulsating atmosphere of tech house parties, it wasn't long before he stumbled upon the transformative allure of the minimal genre, reshaping his musical perception.

In 2018, Robert Ostan embarked on a mission to master the intricacies of the mix, drawing inspiration from luminaries in the electronic music scene such as Mihigh, Rhadoo, Dubtil, Cezar Lazar, Priku, Lizz & Cosmjn, Cristi Cons & Vlad Caia (SIT), Raresh, and an array of other influential figures.

His sonic exploration intensified in 2017 when he began producing music, a craft he continues to refine with passion and dedication. Robert's signature lies in his ability to seamlessly blend different styles in both his tracks and mixes, with a penchant for crafting sonic experiences that lean towards the enigmatic and darker side of the spectrum.
