From Australia's East Coast, we have the privilege of receiving one of the most dynamic sets ever heard on a:ritmi:a: @katharine-motiontheory. With over 20 years of experience curating music, Katharine has played at numerous residencies and parties, honing a unique approach to selecting music. Alongside her partners Ben Abrahams and Jules David, Katharine also founded and continues to work on their label Motion:Theory:Music.

It's quite challenging to capture the vast array of styles you can hear and feel throughout the entire set. However, you can effortlessly perceive the wide range of sounds that Katharine seamlessly incorporates without overwhelming the listener. From subtle transitions between minimal, micro, deep, and dark, to unexpected twists and turns, she maintains a strict, clean selection and mixing style.

There are few individuals pushing Mexico’s discerning underground scene forward quite like David Estrella. A native of Baja, he heads up the Audionik party and label. On the label side, they’ve hosted music from an array of clued-in heads: think Priku, Franco Cinelli, Okain and Steve O' Sullivan. They also host an edit series called Replik which has been really well received on Bandcamp. From an events perspective, they’ve featured the likes of tINI, Floog, Priku and Arapu; proof if needed that they’re a collective on the up.
