LORENA - JAN 24 Set

On Jan 14th 2023.  I stumbled upon Club Ready DJ School.  So as an early birthday present and a few emails back and forth with Andrew, I took a chance and signed up.  DJing is something I have always wanted to do and at one point even tried to learn locally in my city.  I arrived at this persons apartment where he had some DJ videos playing on tv.  I came in and sat on the sofa and we watched for a bit.  Then he took me over to his decks.  He tried his best to show me what to do and kept insisting I just get my own decks and practice.  I feel he just wasn't comfortable with me learning on his.  As the lesson went on,  I was told "I don't look natural behind a deck, I don't know what I am doing, and that I will never get it", he progressively got more annoyed.  After that lesson, we just never connected back again.  It was a really rough go and a pretty sad event.  Djing fell into the background and soon that faded as life carried on.  Until years later where I found Club Ready DJ school, that spark hit me again and here we are.  I might not have had the best start.  But, here is me, being vulnerable and open to you listeners.  You have to start somewhere.  And this is my start.  Thank you for being on my journey!  A mixture of house and tech house tunes.  Or so I thought at the time.  Enjoy
