Escape from Paradise

Slab woke me at four in the morning. His eyes rolled back in his head. He had taken bad chemicals. The only way I could get him back was to join him.

14 hours later I came round. Slab was glassy eyed. This had been recorded and the word Maw written next to it.

Slab now sits in a bathchair looking over the Dee to Wales, a tartan rug over his knees. 

Sometimes he cries.  

Sometimes I do.
