Being Dealt with

1. All these years I've been struggling in vain;
Bitter trials have long squeezed my soul.
Everything just seems tangled and bleak.
Then at night, when on my knees,
With weary heart I cried aloud,
A comforting whisper I hear so warmly speaks...

"O My child, you're in My loving hand;
My heart is truly good for you.
I've prepared all the best—discipline, dealings too— 
For the one whom I've called and do tenderly love,
That you may be fully transformed for My house

2. Now I see my dear Lord is with me,
And He's sov'reign over all things;
Hence to Him I surrender my days.
Work on me as You have planned,
So that I may gain You the most!
What sweet compensation God is as He conveys...
