Growing up, I listened to a lot of rock from across the ages. There were a few artists who I was particularly drawn to, and Frampton was one of those. I remember as a kid hearing the talkbox and being totally blown away. So when the opportunity came, I jumped at being able to do a funky little reworking of "Do You Feel Like We Do".

I used to do this acapella blend live in my house Dj sets, back when the original "Superdrums" came out in 2010. The vocals from Danny Tenaglia's classic fit perfectly over the percussive beat and breakdown.  Before hitting the festival circuit last summer I wanted to make a bunch of exclusive edits, and re-discovered this tech house gem by Sebastien Leger. It sounds so good slowed down! Remembering how good the mash-up worked live back then, I threw the acapella on top again - pitched down of course - and kinda made a whole new groove  by chopping up the vocals.  I added some more effects, dubbed it out, and re-arranged the track slightly.  This became one of my go to tunes all summer and really killed at Lightening in Bottle, Shambhala, Burning Man, and most recently Desert Hearts.  Hopefully it will work for your crowd as well. MUSIC IS THE ANSWER!!!
