Adam Jeffrey - Bio

Adam embarked onto the electronic music scene at a young age, exploring shows presented by favorable talent at limited events that would luckily allow those under the age of 21 in. Inspired by small-scale events such as Ghostly’s Spiritual America parties to the larger and not-to-be missed Movement Festival, his passion for house, techno, and the genre’s subsets strengthened. It was later that Adam had learned how much of an Imprint Detroit’s pioneers and the city itself had on this music. Adam eventually began to write and produce his own sounds and learned to DJ. Some years passed before sharing his work in a truly public setting, when Adam found himself working within a network of individuals that hosted a series of improvised week-day parties on Belle-Isle during 2022. Following Belle Isle, Adam worked with the team at Speculate (His brother, Austin [Rootsin] and longtime friend Adam Shae), assisting the brand in marketing efforts, brand direction, and as a resident DJ. Connections grew and the time to transition arose - the Speculate team decided to hone in and create the Verdance brand which lives today in Detroit and the Metro-Detroit area. Adam acts as a brand director. The first public appearance Verdance made was a day party in May of 2023 with Dru Allan and his HABIT’s series. Adam has appeared on line-ups for events at Well Done Goods’ and an Ambient Brunch event. Adam has recently adapted to DJing vinyl and is finding success in completing mixes of his own productions. With this, he has plans to launch releases under the Verdance brand and continue to build a foundation with his team and other associates.
