Release Info: 
One year on since the release of their latest EP, “Rituals”, German flagship duo Township Rebellion returns to SVT with “혼돈 과 질서” (“Chaos and Order” in Korean). Clad in some kind of sci-fi-indebted dystopian - yet no hopeless - scenario, the twofold EP summons ambiguous visions of a world caught in limbo between technologically advanced societies bound to collapse and ambitions for a brighter future through enhanced levels of empathy and understanding that long to surface.  

First is “Chaos”, a slo-blooming roller that steadily swells towards proper club epicness as its arpeggios unfold. Tapping into 80s-laced, Moroder-friendly Italo with a train-like electro-swing for the main conductor, the cut reels out like the soundtrack to a bumpy otherworldly dream where shapes, colours and sounds entangle in a cosmogonic ballet of sorts. Flip sides and here is the steely, yoking counterpart to TR’s free-flowing opener, “Order”. Flexing its metal muscles and giving maximum room to martial kicks and AI-implemented programming, the track reels out like a brooding call-to-arms, merging thunderous echoes with a truly enslaving gridlocked groove.

André Winter has been working under various collaborative pseudonyms and diverse aliases while shaping the sound of today's club scene. Since starting to release under his own name in 2005, Winter has found regular homes on Ideal Audio and now Senso Sounds. Delivering a double header on this release, Winter proves he remains ahead of the pack. 'Cascadeur' is a techno bomb - deep and driving with plenty of attitude. The thick bass tones rumble through the track, while a trippy vocal adds another dimension for the dancers. 'Fléaux' is cut from the same cloth - a companion piece to 'Cascadeur' that uses the same sound palette to create another twist on Winter’s blueprint. Both tracks are set to cause serious disturbance in basements and main rooms throughout the year.

Following a streak of weighty releases from Ante Perry, Veerus, Roumex, Illyus & Barrientos and label founders Tube & Berger, Kittball now invite Marcus Meinhardt to their roster. Originally from Thüringen but now based in Berlin, the Heinz Music founder is well known for his releases on Katermukke, Hive Audio and SNOE. With piercing percussion and spectral atmospherics, ‘Duke’ is an ominous number featuring soaring synths and tantalizing melodies. Township Rebellion’s remix then marches forward with a chugging bassline, snappy snares and epic chords until Jiggler concludes the package with a low-slung rendition complete with purring bass, dystopian effects and a compelling groove.

I just started making music when the original version of "King Of My Castle" by Whamdue Project got released. Since then I have considered the record to be a timeless classic that still sounds relevant in 2019. When Keanu sent me his first demo of his K.O.M.C. remake I got excited straight away and tested it out in one of my sets. This immediately sparked a lot of creative ideas in my mind, so I started working on a new version in my studio. We ended up sending a few versions back and forth and then finally, after testing it out more extensively, we agreed on a version that we both loved. Since that day the track has become one of the most requested ID's in my sets and we are excited to finally share it with the world!
