GC038 - The Magic Track 🇭🇺 

The Magic Track a DJ/Production duo from Debrecen, Hungary, comprised of Gio & DRJ and they are infatuated with disco and house. 

Gio was raised on classic house and techno, and also influenced by the sound of the 80's electro and synth-funk sound. DRJ grew up on 80's pop, indie, and UK punk .

It was inevitable that these guys will work together sometimes. They both love the classic funk & soul from the 70s and this is what they mix with brand new and recent house, disco, afro, brazil, indie dance and nu disco tunes.

Their producer career was started only last year at And Friends Records, and in the last 10 months Magic releases came out on Mango Sounds, Hive Label and Furious Mandrill too.

Their debut EP, Four Seasons was released on Furious Mandrill in December, and only three months later the next one, Equality EP was sitting in the Juno Download TOP 10 for 2 weeks. Their tracks were played by Fingerman, Pete Herbert, Stephen Richards, Mannix, Paul Older, Igor Gonya, etc.

Their latest EP was released on Tropical Disco in September, and both tunes were featured on the Traxsource TOP 100.
Next Magic EP's are coming soon on Masterworks Music, Furious Mandrill Records, Super Spicy Records, and the guys are also signed their first 3 vinyl records to be released in the upcoming months.

Toy Beats is a DJ, Producer and Podcaster from the UK.

Rising from the dust of the 90's Free Party and Rave scene he has seen and played it all. Starting his DJ career at 17 years of age playing to crowds of party people in quarry's, forests and disused airfields. In more recent years he's picked up residencies at Rough Trade, After Dark and Various clubs and UK festivals.

Toy Beats has been releasing his own material since 2017, with remixes and tracks on the likes of Scour Records, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and Cuttin' It Fine Records. He's on the rise in the industry with stellar reviews from some of the scenes most popular online blogs.

Toy Beats shows take you on a funky bass infused journey through Hip Hop, Breaks, House and Drum and Bass all cut up with his precision turntable trickery, samples and edits. 

Because of his side passion for all things house and disco the ‘Disco Data Podcast’ delves into the latest pics in Nu-Disco & House Music. Sometimes with interviews from leading artists in the scene.
