Toyger are a five piece math-pop band from Middlesbrough. Formed in March 2010 they have played gigs up and down the North East including a showcase for BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson. Toyger have gained a reputation for their strong, energetic live shows, with Ten Feet Tall naming them one of their favourite new acts of 2010. The band were lucky enough to be asked to open the Baltic Square stage at Evolution Festival 2011, along with such acts such as Katy B, Jamie Woon and Saint Saviour.
Toyger will release their debut single “Karl’s Diary” on the 24th of October, 2011 via Pay For The Piano Recordings.
