Borrowed Identity - Searching Forever (Home Taping 19) Snippet

Enduro Disco strut in alongside Italian duo Hard Ton who follow up releases on Permanent Vacation and Tripalium. Together, the trio form a formidable group and work together to present a slice of unbridled joy that now comes backed up by 2 club-ready remixes from Dompe and Parla.

Berlin's Dompe offers up a hazy and hypnotic take on the original that grows into a stomping groove built from tight, truncated loops and a thick, bolstered low-end. Long, swooning breakdowns form misty stop-gaps that slap back with reliable power making it a perfect warm up tune for DJs looking to stack tension in those excitable early hours.

Parla rounds off the package with a neat, functional Hi NRG Disco edit propelled by a ripe, muscular kick. The fun and vibrancy of the original is certainly upheld but just distilled a tad as filters and delays have the melodies swirling just out of focus allowing the drums to drive the track. Another fervent breakdown stretches out before a full-force drop lands it right in the sweaty centre of a brimful floor.

A new artist on Toy Tonics. Coming from the Italian bunch around Black Loops and Ricardo Baez: Andrea Pedra is a 100% analogue instrument and music nerd. Living in the middle of Chianti hills in the little, but ultra beautiful city called Monteriggioni - where the good red wines come from. Dedicating 100% of his time to music. Producing tracks in his analogue studio or throwing parties that are famous all over Tuscany in an old jazz club cavern. A good place to listen to dirty, organic house and disco tracks. His tracks are nasty, soulish, organic sounding house bombs. 

Some words by Andrea: "Army of Me is my solo project that shows my love for the real black deep house - and also for space jazz and old funky disco. Tanglin' with analog synths and MPC, living out of the box, playing and recording. 
I like to build things up on hardware, modern production and heavy sampling from delicious records of the past, everything for your pleasure. I also run a Synth Nerd meeting, get over it!
Had a couple of EPs under the another alias on Lost My Dog."

Daniel W. Best first heard Louis Baker, a New Zealand-based soul singer, perform "Keep On" as the opening act for Fat Freddy's Drop at the Tempodrom in Berlin in 2024. He knew he wanted to create a remix package of the song. His label partner, Andre Lodemann, was also impressed when he heard the track, so he did a remix himself. DJ Philippa and Hollis P. Monroe also delivered amazing remixes. There is something for everyone here. Louis Baker is one of New Zealand’s most compelling voices in modern soul. Some grooves never let you go. For Phil Fuldner, the bassline from El Coco’s 1987 Afrodesia has been following him around for nearly three decades. You might have already heard the original, but this special 12" mix is something only the deepest diggers know - and thanks to his friend Dan Dinsing, Phil finally got his hands on it again.
A first sketch came together fast and got a bigger reaction than expected, but the road from idea to release took three years - mostly to make that all-important sample clearance a reality. Mousse T. was the very first to hear it (in a super-early state) and kept encouraging Phil to finish the job, throwing in the occasional gentle kick to keep it on track.
Now Afrodesia is here at last - a sun-soaked, disco-powered floorfiller that blends nostalgia with fresh energy. Long build-up, quick delivery… and absolutely worth the wait.

SAFT10 is a boogie infused record by Grodno Based producer  ́Four Walls  ́. Seemingly effortless the Belorussian newcomer to the SAFT family knits up an ecstatic wash of synths, pads and modish drum patterns.
The opening track  ́Limits ́ takes one into orbit with it ́s psychedelic synth sequences and moody rhodes. The track begins to ride half way which caters for an euphoric vibe in any setting, club and at home.
The A side follow up continues in a more positive fashion on Electronic Side. Bright rhodes are alternating with sublime synth sounds and advanced drum programming. SAFT Regular  ́Paula King ́ joins  ́Four Walls ́ on the summertime hymne, ́Time To Shine  ́. This is a true house track with positive vibrations, reminiscent of some early 2000 Garage anthems.
Chicagan of Rush Hour fame  ́Vincent Floyd ́ twists things round on the B2. His rework for  ́Time To Shine ́ revolves around characteristics but lush synth work that tempers the euphoric mood of the original and gives it some bite.
