The Edits Collection label is fast becoming essential with a third irresistible offering in a little over a year. This latest one opens with some soul drenched boogie and disco featuring a heart-aching vocal hook and snappy grooves, then gets more deep and jazzy with 'Disco Is A Feeling'. The flip side opens with the steamy 'Take U 4 A Ride' with its explosive Philly strings and busy percussive lines and '10.15' then slow it down with a more steamy and sexy late-night sound that is all big loved-up vocals and freewheeling synths. All four of these are glorious weapons to have handy.

Magic Words, a new project from NY-based producers Eli Cohen and Peter Hargarten, make their debut on RNT with the Wabi Soba EP, a perfect summertime record. If the title track sounds a bit familiar it’s because it’s been in Harvey’s hands for a while and has made many appearances in his sets around the world. Based around an emotive and dreamy loop, the song basically embodies Balearica, dripping with Spanish guitar and wistful, melancholic harmonies.

Toronto’s Jex Opolis turns in a massive remix that preserves all the delicate texture of the original and lays it lovingly over a pulsing clubby drum foundation. Already getting a huge response in the RNT crew’s club sets, this is a special record that’s got some serious summer anthem buzz!

Hace un año tuvimos el placer de presentar “Sample Collosus”; álbum debut del prolífico productor colombiano Felipe Gordon, quien en el transcurso de este año ha logrado editar su música con reconocidos sellos como Toy Tonics, Quintessentials, Secret Reels, Sampling As An Art y Street Tracks.

Sin dejar a un lado ese sonido Lofi House Jazz que lo identifica, Felipe Gordon regresa a Nómada Records con ”Wolf Slang Amateur Prozac Ep”; Una combinación de diferentes estados de la mente donde el productor colombiano logra madurar y perfeccionar su técnica de producción a través de precisos sampleos, baterías en síncopa, arreglos vocales propios y un riguroso y detallado trabajo de composición través de la síntesis. Cinco tracks originales y un remix por parte del nuevo talento del Lo-Fi House francés G2S hacen de “Wolf Slang Amateur Prozac” el Ep perfecto para la pista de baile.

A year ago we were pleased to present 'Sample Colossus'; debut album from the prolific Colombian producer Felipe Gordon, who have now managed to release his music through well known labels such as Toy Tonics, Quintessentials, Secret Reels, Sampling As An Art and Street Tracks.

Without sidelining his signature Lofi Jazz House, Felipe Gordon comes back with to Nomada Records with :Wolf Slang Amateur Prozac Ep'; a combination of different states of mind where he accomplish to mature his sound and improves his production techniques trhough meticulous sampling, syncopated drums, self vocal arrangements and a detailed composed work using synthesis. Five original tracks and a remix from a new french talent in the Lo-Fi House scene, G2S, make “Wolf Slang Amateur Prozac” the perfect EP for the dance floor.

All tracks produced and mixed by Felipe Gordon. All tracks mastered by Lucien Magual.

The inspiration of this track came from all the classic disco tracks from late 70s: 
Gloria Gaynor, Donna Summer, Sister Sledge, The Salsoul Orchestra, etc. You can hear this through the lush strings, live bass, live piano, and vintage analog synths.

Known mostly for releases on Spa In Disco, here Spanish producer Alex Arcocha comes to Rayko's Rare Wiri imprint with a track that you can file under 'nu-disco' or 'disco-house' as you see fit. In its Original form, 'Higher' has something of the surging, pulsing feel of Balearic prog, a throbbing Italo-esque bassline underpinning euphoric synths as the uncredited female vocalist informs us that "your love keeps lifting me higher". The remix from Canary Ilya Santana doesn't flip the script too much, but has a druggier, more spangly feel that puts this rub more firmly in the nu-disco camp
